Saudi Arabia's First Mills (TADAWUL: 2283) has become the inaugural customer of Glasgow-based AI startup Kodamai, deploying what the company describes as the world's first mathematically verified autonomous agent platform across its four production facilities, according to a Business Wire statement on April 13.

Kodamai, which emerged from stealth with the announcement, said its Kelvingrove platform uses category theory, type theory and neuro-symbolic AI to deliver formally verified agent operations across supply chain coordination, quality control and demand forecasting.

First Mills is Saudi Arabia's market-leading flour milling company and a key part of the kingdom's food security supply chain. The deployment will see AI agents manage procurement signals, supplier coordination and inventory levels in real time, as well as monitor production quality and automate repetitive decision cycles.

"AI is moving from experimentation to enterprise deployment, and that shift demands a new standard of trust," Kodamai co-founder and chief executive Maha Achour said. "We built Kodamai to give enterprises the ability to deploy AI agents they can govern — systems that are not only intelligent but provably correct, explainable, and auditable by design."

Alaa Shousha, chief financial officer of First Mills, said the partnership represented a long-term investment in the company's resilience and efficiency.

"By integrating the world's first mathematically verified agentic AI, we are not merely adopting new technology; we are establishing a governance framework that ensures every operational decision is provably correct and fully auditable," Shousha said.

"This level of precision is critical for optimising our supply chain and production cycles, directly contributing to our bottom line while reinforcing our role as a cornerstone of Saudi Arabia's food security," he added.

The company said its platform is compatible with any large language model and enterprise system, targeting sectors where errors carry significant financial or safety consequences, including manufacturing, financial services, healthcare and energy.

Kodamai is a partner for the deployment of explainable enterprise AI agents.
