Thailand's Krung Thai Bank to pay interim dividend

Krung Thai Bank (KTB) will pay an interim cash dividend of THB0.48 per share on October 8, covering the first half of 2026, ad-hoc-news reported on October 5, citing MarketScreener. The payout comes as the Thai lender reorganises its group, with a holding unit setting up two new subsidiaries to separate its technology operations from its wealth and insurance businesses.
The dividend and the restructuring will both be in place before the bank reports its next set of results. That release is scheduled for October 20. The bank's board declared the payment on September 9. The ex-dividend date was September 22 and the record date was September 23.
Krungthai Holding, in which the bank holds a 99.99% stake, incorporated the two subsidiaries on October 1. Krungthai Alliance Holding will handle shared services, digital technology and innovation activities. Krungthai Capitale Holding will cover wealth creation, investment platforms and insurance.
Each new company has registered capital of THB1mn, and Krungthai Holding owns 99.99% of each. Under the new arrangement, technology and shared-service functions will sit apart from wealth and insurance operations, giving the bank separate platforms within its financial business portfolio.
The bank's market capitalisation stood at THB587bn ($17.4bn) on October 5. Over the past 52 weeks its shares have traded between THB24.30 and THB46.00 on the Thai market.
In Germany, the stock was indicated at EUR1.11 on the Lang & Schwarz trading platform at 8:11am CEST on October 5. That was 0.91% above the previous close of EUR1.10. The indication came before the start of the regular Xetra session.
