A Russian glide bomb hit a Kharkiv high-rise overnight on September 28, injuring 20 people including eight children, Governor Oleh Syniehubov said, as Russia launched 165 drones at Ukraine.

Ukraine's Air Force said 79 of the drones were jet-powered and that 112 had been shot down or suppressed by 07:00, with hits recorded at 14 locations and the attack still under way, Ukrinform reported.

Pershyi, Suspilne Sport, Suspilne Kultura, STB, 1+1 and Channel 5 went off air for those viewers, while Novyi Kanal and ICTV kept broadcasting, Ukranews reported. The data centre was not named.
