Drones damaged an industrial facility in Russia's Perm region and injured five workers on October 25, the governor said, as monitoring channels named the target as titanium producer Avisma.

Governor Dmitry Makhonin said 11 drones were downed and that the facility in the north of the region suffered "minor" damage but kept operating normally, without naming it, the Kyiv Independent reported. The Exilenova+ monitoring channel said the target was the Avisma plant in Berezniki, part of VSMPO-AVISMA, one of the world's largest titanium sponge producers and under US sanctions since 2023. Berezniki is more than 1,400 km from the border.

Later that day an industrial zone in Yelets in the Lipetsk region was attacked and a woman paramedic was injured, Governor Igor Artamonov said, Izvestia reported. Channels named the target as the Energiya plant, which makes batteries for drones and air-defence systems, LIGA.net reported, citing Astra and Exilenova+.

The two hits extend a week of strikes on the suppliers behind Russia's missiles and drones, after the Proton-Electrotex electronics plant in Oryol and the Tolyattikauchuk synthetic rubber plant in Tolyatti.

Russia sent 140 drones, 70 of them jet-powered, one Kh-31P anti-radiation missile and three Kh-59/69 guided missiles at Ukraine from 18:00 on October 25, Ukraine's air force said on Telegram, Interfax-Ukraine reported. Air defences downed or suppressed the three Kh-59/69s and 112 drones; hits were recorded at 15 locations and debris fell at four.

SOURCING NOTE: air force claim as of 08:00 Kyiv time on October 26, with the attack still under way; the hit locations were not named and the Kh-31P is not listed among those downed. The report leaves 28 drones unaccounted for (140 less 112).

Inside Russia, the Russian side of the night of October 25-26 is not yet reported at the time of writing beyond the Rostov region.

The fourth tracks what has happened to Ukraine's steel, iron ore, coke, ferroalloy and non-ferrous plants since 2021, grouped by owner. The fifth tracks strikes on data centres, telecoms, media and research sites; the sixth tracks refinery strikes.
