Debris from an Iranian missile strike landed near the Ukrainian embassy in Tel Aviv on March 31, damaging vehicles and shattering shop windows, RIA Novosti reported.

Six people were injured after missile fragments fell in several locations across central Israel during the morning attack. Police and emergency services cordoned off the area around the embassy as crews worked to clear the site.

Air raid sirens sounded twice in Tel Aviv during the morning as the Israeli military tracked missile launches originating from Iran. Several explosions were heard in the area surrounding the city.

Israel's emergency medical service confirmed the six casualties were caused by falling debris rather than direct hits, with fragments landing at multiple points across the central part of the country.

The strike on central Tel Aviv came as Iran continued daily missile and drone operations targeting Israeli territory, now into their second month since the war began on February 28. Iranian forces have maintained a steady tempo of attacks on both Israeli and US military targets across the region.

The proximity of the debris to the Ukrainian embassy adds a diplomatic dimension to the incident. Ukraine has maintained a careful balancing act throughout the conflict, with Kyiv seeking to preserve its relationship with both Israel and its Western backers while avoiding direct involvement in the Middle East war.

The incident coincided with intensifying Israeli ground operations in southern Lebanon, where four soldiers from the Nahal infantry brigade were killed in recent clashes with armed groups operating in the border region.
