Iran suspends nuclear talks with US over Israeli operations in Lebanon and Gaza

Iran's nuclear negotiating team has suspended talks and the exchange of texts via mediators in protest at continuing Israeli military operations in Lebanon and Gaza, Tasnim News Agency reported on June 1.
The Iranian team said Lebanon's ceasefire had been a precondition of the nuclear negotiations and that the ceasefire had now been violated across all fronts, including Lebanon, making continued dialogue impossible.
Iranian officials said talks would not resume until Israel halted operations in Gaza and Lebanon and withdrew fully from occupied Lebanese territory.
The resistance front and Iran have also placed on their agenda the complete closure of the Strait of Hormuz and the activation of additional fronts, including the Bab al-Mandab strait, as punitive measures against Israel and its supporters, Tasnim reported.
Iranian armed forces and resistance front factions have declared their resolve to respond to Israeli operations and open new fronts, according to the report.
