VIDEO: Iranian ballistic missile strikes central Israeli city of Petah Tikva

An Iranian ballistic missile struck the central Israeli city of Petah Tikva on April 2, with footage of the impact posted on social media, The Times of Israel reported.
Rescue forces were dispatched to the scene. No injuries were reported in the immediate aftermath.
Petah Tikva sits in the Tel Aviv metropolitan area, one of the most densely populated parts of the country. The strike on a central Israeli city underscores Iran's continued ability to penetrate Israeli air defences despite five weeks of US-Israeli strikes aimed at degrading Tehran's missile capabilities.
Trump said in his primetime address on April 1 that Iran's missile programme had been severely degraded and its navy and air force destroyed.
Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters responded on April 2 by saying its strategic weapons production sites remained intact and hidden from US intelligence.
The IRGC said earlier on April 2 it had launched its 90th wave of operations since the war began, targeting Israeli air bases at Tel Nof, Palmachim and Ben Gurion as well as military concentrations in Tel Aviv, Haifa, Eilat and the Negev. Yemen's Houthis and Hezbollah have also been conducting coordinated strikes on Israeli territory.
Iranian missile debris landed near the Ukrainian embassy in Tel Aviv on March 31, injuring six people. Israel has faced daily attacks since the war began on February 28, with the military reporting repeated interceptions but some projectiles continuing to get through.
Iran's armed forces spokesman said on April 2 that only a "negligible portion" of Tehran's munitions had been used and warned of "more devastating" strikes to come.
