The Hungarian government has not denied reports that Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is scheduled to visit Moscow again this week, Hang.hu writes, citing an investigative journalist.

In response to inquiries about the trip, the Government Information Centre (KTK) stated, "As usual, the public will be informed about the Prime Minister’s foreign visits in due course."

The KTF responded to a post by Szabolcs Panyi, investigative journalist of Vsquare, who wrote that the Hungarian leader is to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin on November 28, citing reliable sources.

The KTK did not provide any details, but according to Hang.hu, the upcoming discussions in Moscow are expected to cover several pressing issues, including the Russian-American peace plan, the Budapest peace summit.

The two leaders could also discuss energy issues, as MOL, the Hungarian oil company, could acquire stakes in Serbia’s Oil Industry (NIS) from its Russian owner to secure exemption from US sanctions. 

Even as Orban's trip has not been officially confirmed by the government, the news has been prominently featured on the Index.hu website, which is closely linked to government sources, Hang.hu observed.
